While London Fashion Week AW23’s runway predicted future trends (low-waisted everything, we see you), it’s only now that trends are really taking shape with the support of editors, buyers and influencers sitting in the front row.
Thankfully, we got Modehunter’s Darrel Hunter out on the streets of London to capture attendees in their outfits, so we know which pieces are popular with London’s fashionistas. Leather aviator jackets, back-to-school bustiers, XL leggings and Tabi shoes are the street style stars that really stood out this season, so let’s take a look at where to shop now and how to style them.
We spotted the pleated skirt on the runway and front row at fashion week, looking straight out of the school entrance. the Miu Miu version, usually midi in length and dark grey in color, topped our wish list.
To ensure the school look is conveyed well and authentically, we paired this skirt with white socks, loafers and a pullover. Braids are optional.
